SL Clip Renamer 1.2 - Ableton Live - Max for Live device - max4live

This max4live devive allows you to easily rename all audio or midi clips of a selected, or all tracks in the arrangement view of Ableton Live. The naming of the audio clips can be adjusted using different settings, including using the name of locators set up in the Live Project.

Compatible with Ableton 12, 11 ... and probably in 10 and 9 (only works if you have access to max4live - in the Suite Version of Live, or you can purchase max separately)

Info: I've noticed that the window takes the focus away from ableton live's main window on macOS, which then leads to the user having to click twice into ableton to select the next track. I am going to look into fixing that in a future update.

• Rename to a custom name.
• Add numbers to the clip names (append or prepend).

How to use:
1. Place Max device on any track
2. Open Window
3. Select a track
4. Set the settings
5. Hit "RENAME"

If you've made a mistake, just use the usual "Edit > Undo (Ctrl + Z)" and it will undo the renaming.

I haven't found a way yet of removing the clip names completely (leaving the custom text field blank).
